The home jersey was a regular lightblue striped shirt, but the away version had its own story.

The players found the original blue shirt in their first World Cup game too thick and heavy, so the staff went on looking for a replacement in Mexico City. They found a blue shirt with some darker stripes, and Maradona liked it instantly. The staff quickly sewed on them some older AFA logos that were at hand.

Since Argentina has knocked England out with a controversial and a wonderful goal, these jerseys bought in a hurry became the most precious ones ever.
